CRS Summary

The SEC requires that two new disclosures be delivered under Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and Relationship Summary (Form CRS) requirements, which have a compliance date of June 30.
The Relationship Summary is a disclosure document required to be provided to retail investors in both brokerage and advisory accounts. The document is intended by the SEC to be a short, high-level, plain English disclosure for retail investors to understand the services, compensation, and conflicts of investment advisers and broker-dealers. The SEC’s goal is to minimize client confusion by distinguishing between available services.
